HUNTINGTON — A woman is suing her former employer alleging that she was unfairly terminated.

Tammy Jividen filed a complaint in Cabell Circuit Court against Cabell Huntington Hospital Inc.

The suit states the plaintiff was employed by the defendant for 12 years. The plaintiff alleges she was terminated because of inappropriate interaction with staff and the creation of a hostile work environment, but the real reason she claims was connected to her age, social movement support of the LGBTQ community and poor dynamics with coworkers.

The defendant is accused of violation of the West Virginia Human Rights Act, violation of the Patient Safety Act, and violation of public policy.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by D. Adrian Hoosier of Hoosier Law Firm in Charleston.
