BOWLES RICE LLP: Bowles Rice Welcomes Two New Attorneys to Firm

Bowles Rice LLP issued the following announcement on Aug. 15.

Bowles Rice is pleased to welcome attorneys Michael A. Adams and Sharon M. Menchyk to the firm.

Michael A. Adams is a seasoned litigator with over two decades of representative experience. Admitted in both Ohio and West Virginia, he practices from the firm’s Wheeling, West Virginia office. His experience includes defending medical negligence cases; representing health care professionals in contract negotiations; and providing general counsel on a variety of related matters. Adams has also represented individual corporate clients on mineral leasing; commercial property development; entity restructuring and sale; regulatory compliance and licensing; franchising agreements and more. As a litigator, his experience includes residential and commercial construction claims; breach of fiduciary duty; employment non-compete matters; predatory lending; and mineral rights and title issues.

Adams is also a registered pharmacist in Ohio and West Virginia. He earned his law degree in 1995 from the West Virginia University College of Law.

Sharon M. Menchyk focuses her practice on business and corporate matters, real estate law and litigation. Admitted in Pennsylvania, she practices from the firm’s Southpointe, Pennsylvania office. Menchyk’s nearly 20 years of experience includes drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements; preparation and review of titles, leases and mechanic’s liens; and representation on a wide variety of matters from shareholder/member agreements and foreclosures to torts and employment matters. She has represented clients in state and federal courts and in alternative dispute resolution forums.

In 2000, Menchyk earned her law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She is the founder and president of the Women’s Marketing and Education Network, Inc., an organization that provides professional women with networking and business development opportunities.
