Customer sues Little Caesars alleging that he was injured on a foreign object in pizza

CHARLESTON – A Charleston man alleges he was injured by a foreign object left in a pizza.

Henry Saunders filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Little Caesar Enterprises Inc. and VDM Management Group LLC, doing business as Little Caesars Pizza, alleging negligence.

The suit states that the plaintiff was a patron of the defendant's restaurant at 1112 Fledderjohn Road, Charleston on Jan 7 and was injured when he bit onto a hard foreign object that had been left in the pizza. He alleges the object caused a serious injury to his mouth and jaw. The complaint does not specify what the foreign object was.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Bruce L. Freeman of Freeman and Chiartas in Charleston.

The case has been assigned to Judge Charles King.
