C.A. Murren & Sons allegedly owes nearly $20,000 for equipment

NEW MARTINSVILLE – An Ohio equipment company alleges it is owed nearly $20,000 from companies based in Charleston and Georgia.

B.E.T. LTD, doing business as Bridgeport Equipment & Tool, filed a complaint in Wetzel Circuit Court against C.A. Murren & Sons Co. Inc., C.A. Murren & Sons Co. Mid-Atlantic LLC and C.A. Murren & Sons Midwest LLC alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

The suit states the defendants purchased various parts and equipment from the plaintiff beginning in October 2018. The plaintiff alleges the defendants have failed to pay off the balance due, which totals $19,616.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gerald E. Lofstead III of Spilman Thomas & Battle PLLC in Wheeling.

The case has been assigned to Judge Jeffrey Cramer.
