First Choice America Community Federal Credit Union alleges borrower owes nearly $300,000

NEW CUMBERLAND – A Weirton-based credit union is suing a Pennsylvania borrower who allegedly failed to pay his portion of a loan.

First Choice America Community Federal Credit Union filed a complaint in Hancock Circuit Court against Clement A. Cahall, M.D. alleging failure to pay.

The suit states that the plaintiff and another party made a commercial loan to the defendant and other individual borrowers for the balance of $9.5 million in 2012.

The plaintiff alleges the defendant has failed to pay his obligated sum of the loan and is indebted to the plaintiff for $296,875.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by George J. Anetakis, Kevin M. Pearl and Thomas J. Decapio of Frankovitch, Anetakis, Simon, Decapio & Pearl LLP in Chester.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Ronald E. Wilson.
