Walmart shopper alleges store failed to warn of wet floor that led to fall

KEYSER – A Burlington woman is suing Walmart after she fell in one of its stores because of a wet floor.

Kessie Doman filed a complaint in Mineral Circuit Court against Walmart Stores Inc. alleging negligence.

The suit states that the plaintiff was a guest at the defendant's Keyser store on Aug. 4, 2017, and slipped and fell because of a wet floor. She alleges she injured her knees and back in the fall.

The plaintiff alleges the defendant was negligent and careless in failing to warn her of the condition.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Lawrence E. Sherman Jr. in Romney.
