MOUNDSVILLE – A Moundsville couple is suing an Ohio contractor alleging that the work they paid for was done poorly or not completed.

James Darick West and Kimalea West filed a complaint in Marshall Circuit Court against Trigg Construction Home Improvement LLC and Joe Hill alleging breach of contract.

The suit states that the plaintiffs hired Trigg Construction to build a back gable roof, front shed roof, siding, roofing, and other work in August 2014 for the contract price of $68,790. Despite promising to deliver a certain level of workmanship, the plaintiffs allege the defendants have failed to complete the work and some of the work that has been done is below industry standards.

The plaintiffs are seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiffs are represented by Adam E. Barney in Berry, Kessler, Crutchfield, Taylor & Gordon in Moundsville.

The case has been assigned to Judge Jeffrey Cramer.
