FAYETTEVILLE – A West Virginia woman is claiming that female patrons were secretly videotaped by employees at a Raleigh County Planet Fitness.

S.O., individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, filed a complaint in Raleigh Circuit Court against Ryan Craigo; United PF Lom LLC doing business as Planet Fitness United; Pla-Fit Franchise LLC; and Planet Fitness Inc. alleging breach of duty.

According to the suit, the plaintiff is a Planet Fitness Black Card member, which allowed her use of the tanning rooms at the defendants' Raleigh County location. The plaintiff alleges she found out that employees at the Planet Fitness were videotaping female patrons without their consent and she alerted the defendants, but no action was taken.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory and punitive damages and all other just relief. She is represented by Greg Hewitt and Anthony Salvatore of The Hewitt & Salvatore Law Firm PLLC in Fayetteville.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge H.L. Kirkpatrick III.
