BECKLEY – A law firm alleges a Fairdale man who entered into a contract for its legal services owes it more than $80,000 in fees.
Wooton, Davis, Hussell & Ellis PLLC filed a complaint in Raleigh Circuit Court against Clint Henderson alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
The plaintiff and Henderson entered into a contract for legal services on May 14, 2015, according to the suit. The plaintiff claims Henderson signed a promissory note in August of 2017 for $66,000 plus interest and agreed to make installments or a lump sum payment, which he has not paid.
The plaintiff seeks $80,876.79 plus interest and all other just relief. The plaintiff is represented by Andrew Ellis and John Hussell of Wooton, Davis, Hussell & Ellis Law Firm PLLC in Charleston.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Andrew Dimlich.
