Fire, security system company claims Motel 6 owes more than $8,000

CHARLESTON – A Virginia fire and security systems company alleges a Charleston Motel 6 owes it more than $8,000 for its services. 

VSC Fire and Security Inc. filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Capitol Hotels Inc., doing business as Motel 6, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment. 

VSC claims in its suit that it supplied the Motel 6 with $8,935.39 in services including interest, which have not yet been paid, and that the services were received and not rejected by the defendant. 

VSC seeks a judgment of $11,169.24 and all other just relief. It is represented by John Keating of Amato and Keating PC in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. 

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Tera Salango.
