WAYNE — A man is alleging the homeowner and real estate agents who sold him a house frauduently concealed issues with hillside slippage.

John Twardy and plaintiffs filed a complaint in Wayne Circuit Court against Ricky Hale, Melissa Baker, Chris Gillispie and Old Colony Company of Huntingon alleging fraud, unfair and deceptive acts and practices and other claims.

In 2018, Twardy purchased Hale's property in Lavalette which was listed for sale by Old Colony. He alleges that the defendants failed to disclose problems with the property that included hillside slippage and repairs that were made and movement on the sides, front and back of the property. Twardy claims Hale and his wife discussed the issues with Old Colony in emails and text messages prior to the sale.

Twardy seeks monetary relief, trial by jury and all other just relief. He is represented by Steven Wolfe of Wolfe, White & Associates in Logan.
