WEST VIRGINIA SUPREME COURT OF APPEALS: Supreme Court Admits Lawyers in Virtual Ceremony

West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals issued the following announcement on May 21.

Fifty people were admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia on Wednesday, May 20, in the first ever virtual ceremony. Because of the Covid-19 emergency, the admissions ceremony was held using virtual technology. Applicants usually are required to appear in person before the Supreme Court in the Supreme Court Courtroom to be admitted to the West Virginia State Bar.
