JACKSON KELLY PLLC: Attorney Robby J. Aliff Voted Into The American Board of Trial Advocates

Vote

Jackson Kelly PLLC issued the following announcement on June 24.

On June 20, 2020, Robby J. Aliff was voted into the membership of The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) by its National Board. The American Board of Trial Advocates is a select group of trial lawyers, whose ranks include lawyers who represent civil plaintiffs and defendants and prosecutors and criminal defense lawyers.

ABOTA is an invitation-only organization. Members must have at least five years of active experience as trial lawyers, have tried at least 10 civil jury trials to conclusion, and possess additional litigation experience. Members must also exhibit the virtues of civility, integrity, and professionalism by following our Code of Professionalism and Principles of Civility. In West Virginia, there are only thirteen members of ABOTA.

ABOTA advocates for improvements in the ethical and technical standards of advocacy, protection of the right to trial by jury, and judicial independence.

Rob joins fellow Jackson Kelly lawyers Gil Dickinson, a member of ABOTA’s National Board and past president of its Colorado Chapter, Michelle R. Prud'Homme, past president of its Colorado Chapter, James D. Johnson, Indiana Chapter, Alvin L. Emch, and Thomas J. Hurney, Jr., West Virginia Chapter.
