Bowles Rice LLP issued the following announcement on Nov. 5.

Bowles Rice LLP has earned national and regional recognition among the 2021 “Best Law Firms,” named by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers®.

The firm received one national ranking for its work in Mining Law and 60 regional rankings in West Virginia and Pennsylvania for work across a multitude of practice areas.

The “Best Law Firms” rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes client and lawyer evaluations, peer reviews from leading attorneys in their fields and review of additional information. Firms included in the 2021 “Best Law Firms” list are recognized for professional excellence with consistently impressive evaluations from clients and peers.

The magazine’s publishers divide West Virginia into two geographic or “metropolitan” areas. The Charleston Metropolitan Area encompasses the southern part of the state and includes the Bowles Rice offices in Charleston and Parkersburg, West Virginia. The Morgantown Metropolitan Area includes the norther part of the state, including the firm’s offices in Morgantown, Martinsburg and Wheeling, West Virginia.
