West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals issued the following announcement on Nov. 25.
Summersville Attorney Harley E. Stollings will be sworn in as a Family Court Judge in the Sixteenth Family Court Circuit (Clay and Nicholas Counties) at 8:45 a.m. Monday, November 30, in the Nicholas County Courthouse in Summersville.
Judge-Elect Stollings, who will begin work on Tuesday, December 1, had a ceremonial swearing in ceremony with his family on November 20.
He was elected November 3 to fill the vacancy left by the August 7 resignation of Family Court Judge William "Brad" Dorsey. Temporary Family Court Judge Donald Bischoff has been filling in since then.
