Justices of the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia would like to express sincere condolences to the family of Seth Allen Underwood, a second-year student at the West Virginia University College of Law, who died December 30.

“I first met Seth in 2017 when he and his fellow WVU student government officers visited the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. Seth was an exceptionally gifted young man with a very bright future. We share the profound sense of loss being felt by his fellow students, and the faculty and staff at the WVU School of Law.” said Chief Justice Evan Jenkins.
