CLARKSBURG — Bridgestone Americans Tire Operations filed a lawsuit against Pristine Clean Energy alleging it failed to pay for nearly $500,000 in goods and services.

Bridgestone provided Pristine with $446,912.86 in products and $52,311.96 in service charges for a total of $499,224.82, which Pristine has not paid back, according to a complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia.

Bridgestone claims Pristine breached its contract and was unjustly enriched at Bridgestone's expense. It claims that William K. Abraham is the sole member of Pristine and personally guaranteed payment of the sums owed to Bridgestone.

Pristine and Abraham have defaulted on the loan and their obligation to pay it back.

The plaintiff is seeking compensatory damages in the amount of $499,224.82 with pre- and post-judgment interest. Bridgestone is represented by Jason D. Bowles and Arnold J. Janicker of Jenkins Fenstermaker in Huntington.
