STEPTOE & JOHNSON PLLC: Hampton Rose Elected to Lead West Virginia State Bar Association Real Estate Lawyers Division and Serve as Executive Council Member

Steptoe & Johnson PLLC issued the following announcement on Apr. 5.

H. Hampton Rose IV has been elected to serve as chair of the Real Estate Lawyers Division of the West Virginia State Bar Association.  The Real Estate Division is comprised of a network of real estate attorneys throughout the state dedicated to advancing their area of law through educational programs and events.  As chair, Rose will have a seat on the Association’s executive council.  He joins Steptoe & Johnson attorney Tracey Eberling who also serves on the executive council.

Rose is a member in Steptoe & Johnson’s Charleston office and leads the firm’s real estate team. His clients depend on him when engaged in commercial transactions and related financing, involving a broad range of commercial and mineral real property assets.  As a registered lobbyist, he represents clients in a broad array of industries before the West Virginia Legislature to shape policy on issues vital to their success.  He is an active member in various industry and civic organizations throughout the state, including the WV Oil & Natural Gas Association, the Contractors Association of West Virginia, and the Rotary Club of Charleston.

The West Virginia Bar Association is the state-wide voluntary membership organization for attorneys and professionals in the legal community. It serves as a resource to the legal profession with the goal of fostering a culture of collegiality, ethics, courtesy, and professionalism.
