PETERSBURG — A man is suing Little Caesar's after his grandmother fell in the parking lot and was injured and later died from those injuries.
Little Caesar ENterprises, D&E Williams LLC, D&E Enterprise LLC, Daniel Williams, Earl Williams and five unknown, unnamed individuals were all named as defendants in the suit.
Loveain Hedrick Warner was with her daughter, Carol Hoover, when Hoover stopped at Little Caesar's, according to a complaint filed in Grant Circuit Court.
Tim Hoover, Warner's grandson, claims Warner got out of the car and immediately fell, striking her head. A stranger helped Carol Hoover get Warner back into the car. Carol Hoover then took her mother to Grant Memorial Hospital, but was told she would have to wait eight hours before a room could be available and potentially longer to see a physician.
Carol Hoover took Warner and left, planning to take Warner to Pendleton Community Care, but she stopped at her husband's work to get his advice and then turned to go back to Grant Memorial, however, Warner lost consciousness on the way and she was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Tim Hoover is seeking compensatory damages. He is represented by P. Gregory Haddad and Travis A. Prince of Bailey & Glasser.
