NEW CUMBERLAND — A woman is suing Prop Logistics alleging that she was sexually harassed by an employee.

Cherie Baker worked for Prop and claims a co-worker told her she was sexy, offered to touch her body and inquired about the relationship she had with her husband, according to a complaint filed in Hancock Circuit Court.

Baker claims the co-worker's conduct unreasonably interfered with her work performance and created a hostile work environment.

The plaintiff informed her supervisor of the co-worker's inappropriate comments and behavior, but within hours of doing so, her employment was terminated, according to the suit.

Baker claims the defendant failed to take the appropriate action to address the sexual harassment complaint and instead punished her for making the complaint.

Baker is seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre- and post-judgment interest. She is represented by Paul L. Frampton Jr. of Atkinson & Polak in Charleston.

The case is assigned to Circuit Judge Jason Cuomo.
