WEST VIRGINIA SUPREME COURT OF APPEALS: Justices to Present Virtual CLE for Monongalia Bar Association

West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals issued the following announcement on June 10.

Four Supreme Court Justices are planning to jointly present a virtual one-hour Continuing Legal Education class for the Monongalia County Bar Association at noon on Tuesday, June 15. 

Chief Justice Evan Jenkins, Justice Beth Walker, Justice Tim Armstead, and Justice John Hutchison will talk about the “State of the Supreme Court.” 

The Justices often talk to legal, professional and civic groups about the work of the Supreme Court and the West Virginia Judicial System. 

“The Court is committed to transparency and accountability. We’ve taken bold steps these past few years to make sure the problems of the past never happen again. We’re also committed to promoting civility in the judicial system and trying to lead by example. We look forward to participating in the Monongalia County Bar Association’s meeting and appreciate all the good work they do,” said Chief Justice Evan Jenkins.
