PRINCETON — Neal and Associates is suing Cornerstone Minerals for failing and refusing to pay more than $100,000 for services provided.
Neal and Associates entered into a contract with Cornerstone Minerals on June 11, 2018, to provide security services for several locations in Mercer and McDowell Counties that were mine sites, according to a complaint filed in Mercer Circuit Court.
Neal and Associates claims it performed the services beginning in 2018, according to the suit. However, between Jan. 16 and April 1, it provided services for Cornerstone, but Cornerstone failed and refused to pay for the services that were provided.
Neal and Associates requested payment for the invoices and demanded the defendant pay for the services according to the terms of the contract, but those demands for payment went unheard and the defendant failed and refused to pay for services provided.
The plaintiff claims the defendant owes $103,317.11.
