BECKLEY — Trinity Holdings is suing WV Crossroads Realty alleging that it breached its contract with the company during the purchase of property.
WV Crossroads CH LLC and WV Crossroads Nassim LLC were also named as defendants in the suit.
Trinity began negotiating with the defendants in October 2019 for the purchase of property that it intended to place a Taco Bell restaurant on for the purchase price of $360,000, according to a complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.
Trinity claims WV Crossroads was supposed to bring utilities to the site, but it did not perform those obligations and it intentionally breached its obligations. Trinity claims when it reached out to the defendants, they failed to respond.
Trinity claims the defendants breached their contract with Trinity and caused Trinity to incur attorneys fees and costs for its failure.
Trinity is seeking compensatory damages. It is represented by Russel D. Jessee and James E. McDaniel of Steptoe & Johnson.
