FAYETTEVILLE — A couple is suing several companies and employees for injuries sustained from a car accident.
Mohamud Sahal Ali, BSS Logistics, Mirko Rasuo, Southwest Carriers and Michael Russell were all named as defendants in the suit.
Tracy Spangler and Mark Spangler claim on May 17, 2019, Tracy Spangler was operating a vehicle in Pax on Interstate 77 when Ali, who was operating a vehicle owned by BSS, collided with Tracy Spangler's vehicle, according to a complaint filed in Fayette Circuit Court.
The Spanglers claim Rasuo, who was operating a vehicle owned by Southwest, was negligent because he was at fault for Ali colliding with Tracy Spangler. Russell wrecked his motorcycle and caused the congestion that contributed to Ali colliding with Tracy Spangler, according to the suit.
The Spanglers are seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest. They are represented by Stephen B. Farmer, Robert A. Campbell and Jeffrey T. Jones of Farmer Cline and Campbell in Charleston.
The case was assigned to Circuit Judge Paul Blake.
