PRINCETON — A woman says Normart LLC was negligent in maintaining its property and caused her to suffer injuries.

Heather Waddell, who was an employee of Bluestone Healthcare, which rented office space from Normart, and was entering into the rear entrance of the property on Jan. 21, 2020, when she stepped down the stairs and fell, according to a complaint filed in Merce Circuit Court.

Waddell claims ice was covering the concrete pad and was not salted to prevent icing. She sustained injuries from the fall.

The concrete pad was also improperly designed so as to allow water to accumulate and not drain properly, according to the suit.

Waddell claims she sustained a displaced bimalleolar fracture of the left ankle due to the incident.

Waddell is seeking compensatory damages. She is represented by Russell Williams of Katz, Kantor, Stonestreet & Buckner in Princeton.
