WHEELING — A minor and his parents are suing Principle Enterprises for a car accident that caused injuries.
Scott Doyle, A. Doyle and Jennifer Doyle filed the lawsuit against Principle Enterprises and Eric K. Fielder alleging that on Feb. 19, Scott Doyle was operating a vehicle in Ohio County when Fielder was operating a vehicle owned by Principle despite having a suspended or revoked license, according to a complaint filed in Ohio Circuit Court.
Principle knew that Fielder had a suspended or revoked license and poor and dangerous driving habits, the complaint states.
The Doyles claim Fielder caused a collision and caused their injuries.
Fielder violated motor vehicle codes and laws, including reckless driving, failing to maintain the vehicle, failing to yield the right of way, failing to keep a proper lookout and failing to obey traffic control devices, according to the suit.
The Doyles are seeking compensatory and punitive damages. They are represented by Joseph J. John and Anthony I. Werner of John & Werner Law Offices in Wheeling.
