HUNTINGTON — Whitt-Meadows Electric is suing Core Equity Partners alleging it failed to pay for goods and services.

Whitt-Meadows provided electrical installation and services and was contracted to work over several months between January and May 2020 for the defendant, according to a complaint filed in Cabell Circuit Court.

The plaintiff claims it requested payment for its services in the amount of $27,946.77, however, the defendant failed and refused to pay for the services performed.

Whitt-Meadows' attorney demanded payment last November, but the defendant still refused to compensate the plaintiff for the work performed, according to the suit.

The plaintiff is seeking judgment in the amount of $27,946.77. It is represented by Hoyt Glazer of Glazer Saad Anderson in Huntington.

The case is assigned to Circuit Judge Alfred Ferguson.
