CHARLESTON — A Kanawha County woman is suing Enterprise Rent-A-Car claiming she was injured while on the premises of the South Charleston rental car business.

Priscilla Rucker was on the premises of the rental car company on May 21, 2019, when she fell off of an uneven area between the sidewalk and the parking lot, causing her injuries, according to a complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.

Rucker claims the uneven area was camouflaged. She claims the elevation changed between the sidewalk and the parking lot, but it was unpainted, creating a tripping hazard for the public.

The defendant was negligent in keeping its premises safe and caused Rucker's injuries, according to the suit.

Rucker is seeking compensatory and punitive damages. She is represented by Kevin P. Davis and Mark Plants.
