WINFIELD — A woman is suing Crisenbery Logging for wrongfully timbering her property.

Brandon O'Callaghan was also named as a defendant in the suit.

Kathleen O'Callaghan owns 20.61 acres of property in Teays Valley and Brandon O'Callaghan owns property adjacent to her property, according to a complaint filed in Putnam Circuit Court.

Crisenbery Logging filed a timbering operation notification for Brandon O'Callaghan's property for the period of Feb. 17, 2020, until June 1, 2020, however, on June 20, 2020, Kathleen O'Callaghan discovered timbering was done on approximately 10 acres of her property and while doing so, also cut roads and paths, broke flora, illegally removed timber and otherwise damaged her property.

Kathleen O'Callaghan claims Brandon O'Callaghan either negligently identified her property lines or knowingly did so in willful disregard for her property rights.

Kathleen O'Callaghan is seeking compensatory damages. She is represented by JB Akers of Akers Law Offices in Charleston.
