PRINCETON — A couple is suing Bilco alleging for injuries suffered while peacefully protesting.

Bilco is doing business as Pantili Hyundai.

William S. Pantili, William Pantili Jr. and Devon Blankenship were also named as defendants in the suit.

Anthony Pustovarh was peacefully protesting at Bilco on June 17, 2019, when he was injured by the defendants when they threw tomatoes at him, according to a complaint filed in Mercer Circuit Court.

Pustovarh was peacefully protesting because he had purchased a vehicle from Bilco and Bilco refused to make repairs to the vehicle or conform the vehicle to its warranty.

The defendants' actions were assault and battery and caused him harm.

Anthony Pustovarh and Kristy Pustovarh are seeking compensatory and punitive damages. They are represented by Karl Kolenich of Klie Law Offices in Buckhannon.

The case is assigned to Circuit Judge Derek Swope.
