West Virginia Attorney General issued the following announcement on Oct. 1.
Attorney General Patrick Morrisey announced that he will host two town hall meetings Wednesday, Oct. 6, in Morgantown and Fairmont to speak with residents about updates on recent actions taken by his office, including opposition to broad federal overreach.
“Town hall meetings foster a unique dialogue between our office and West Virginia residents,” Attorney General Morrisey said. “We are able to provide important information to people about consumer protection issues and hear about challenges facing their area. That’s why we hope everyone will come to this meeting to share their thoughts, ideas, and concerns.”
The first meeting will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, at Mylan Park, located at 500 Mylan Park Lane, Morgantown.
The second event will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, at Faith Church International, located at 600 The Drive, Fairmont.
The events are open to the public. All are encouraged to attend.
