HUNTINGTON — A couple is suing Damron's Lawn Care for a car accident.

Damron's Lawn Care and Casey Damron both were named as defendants in the suit.

William Heaberlin was in a vehicle on June 27, 2019, when Casey Damron, while acting within the scope of his employment with the defendant, struck the plaintiff, according to a complaint filed in Cabell Circuit Court.

Heaberlin claims the defendant failed to pay attention and observe a red light and negligently struck Heaberlin's vehicle.

The defendants caused Heaberlin to suffer permanent personal injuries, medical expenses and wage loss, pain, suffering and emotional distress.

Heaberlin and his wife, Deborah Heaberlin, are seeking compensatory damages. They are represented by Roy D. Baker Jr. of Baker Law Offices in Huntington.

The case is assigned to Circuit Judge Chris Chiles.
