HUNTINGTON — Foodfair is being sued for injuries sustained by a patron who tripped when leaving the store.
Forth Inc. and Forth's Food were also named as defendants in the suit.
On May 9, 2020, Julie Ferry was at Foodfair in Lavalette when she tripped over a low rail and was injured, according to a complaint filed in Cabell Circuit Court.
Ferry claims she suffered severe and permanent injuries as a result of the fall.
Ferry is seeking compensatory damages. She is represented by Scott A. Damron of Damron Law Office in Huntington.
The case is assigned to Circuit Judge Gregory Howard Jr.
