S. Caleb Davis has joined Steptoe & Johnson PLLC as an Associate in the firm’s Charleston office. His legal practice focuses on general litigation matters.
Davis earned his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law. He joins Steptoe & Johnson after serving as a law clerk for Judge Jason J. Fry of the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals Twenty-Fourth Circuit. He was responsible for drafting memoranda and orders on many types of law, completing research, and attending proceedings on the court’s behalf. As a student at WVU, Davis participated in the Clinical Law Program assisting disadvantaged and low-income individuals as part of the taxpayer advocacy clinic. He also served in the West Virginia Division of Highways Legal Division co-op program where he worked alongside in-house counsel on a variety of legal matters pertaining to transportation.
Davis earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Marshall University.
