FAYETTEVILLE — A woman is suing Thompson Construction Group alleging breach of contract.

The Commodore Corporation was also named as a defendant in the suit.

Angie Todd contracted the defendants to reconstruct her home after her original home was damaged in a flood in June 2016, according to a complaint filed in Fayette Circuit Court.

Todd was approved for reconstruction through RISE WV's grant and Commodore Homes manufactured her new home and Thompson was to install the new home, however, the defendants breached their contracts because the home had a multitude of defects.

The home had mildew throughout, cracks, improperly installed shingles and drainage problems.

Todd is seeking compensatory damages. She is represented by Bren J. Pomponio of Mountain State Justice.

Fayette Circuit Court case number: 21-C-70
