FAYETTEVILLE — A couple is suing MN Carrier and one of its employees for a car accident that caused them both property damage and medical expenses.

MN Carrier and Paramvir S. Sahota were both named as defendants in the suit.

Charles S. Bolt and Lavana Daugherty Bolt were in their vehicle on July 12, 2019, when Sahota, who was operating a 2014 Freightliner Tractor Trailer Truck, was following too closely and struck the rear of the plaintiffs' vehicle, according to a complaint filed in Fayette Circuit Court.

The Bolts claim their initial property damage estimate was $3,986.06, but two years later, the defendants have not paid to have the vehicle fixed. They also spent thousands of dollars on medical expenses.

The Bolts are seeking compensatory damages. They are represented by Benny G. Jones.
