WHEELING — A man is suing Asplundh Tree Expert alleging he was retaliated against when he complained about safety violations.

Daniel Stevie was also named as a defendant in the suit.

Joseph Wood worked for Asplundh as a foreman for two years and worked under Stevie, who was the general foreman, according to a complaint filed in Ohio Circuit Court.

Wood claims the defendants required him to work in conditions that were in violation of safety standards and that he complained to Stevie, who then retaliated against him.

Wood is seeking compensatory damages. He is represented by D. Adrian Hoosier II of Hoosier Law.
