PRINCETON — A woman is suing Regional Malls alleging she was injured when she fell because of the mall's negligence.

Diane Debra Wellman was at the Mercer Mall on Dec. 11, 2019, when she fell and was injured, according to a complaint filed in Mercer Circuit Court.

Wellman claims it was discovered that an electrical outlet in the floor had been used and the metal cover and been left open, creating a hazard in the floor.

As a result of the defendant's negligence, the plaintiff suffered personal injuries that were caused by the defendant, according to the suit.

Wellman is seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest. She is represented by Ryan Flanigan of The Flanigan Law Office in Princeton.
