HUNTINGTON — A man is suing Advantage Automotive alleging that his vehicle was not repaired and caused him injuries.

Gregory Allan Gosnay's 2002 Toyota Tundra was taken to Advantage Automotive for a recall and was in their possession on and off from Feb. 20, 2020, until June 5, 2020, according to a complaint filed in Cabell Circuit Court.

Gosnay claims the defendants called him on May 18, 2020, and he dropped off his vehicle for repair.

Gosnay claims on June 5, 2020, when he picked up his vehicle, he drove it home and placed it in park and exited the vehicle. Eight days later, he was exiting the vehicle in the same fashion when it shifted out of park and rolled backward, striking him and running over his legs.

The plaintiff was seriously injured when the vehicle rolled over his legs.

Gosnay is seeking compensatory damages. He is represented by Michael Davenport.

The case is assigned to Circuit Judge Gregory Howard.
