Nelson Mullins issued the following announcement on Feb. 14.
The American Bar Association Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service has recognized Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP for its dedication to pro bono service through its participation in ABA Free Legal Answers. The firm answered 233 civil legal questions in 2021 for the program, an on-line virtual legal clinic through which income-eligible clients can post civil legal services questions to be answered by pro bono attorneys from their jurisdiction.
The committee presents the ABA Free Legal Answers Pro Bono Leaders recognitions to individual attorneys, law firms, corporate law departments, and other organizations that have provided extraordinary pro bono services through ABA Free Legal Answers, the organization said.
