The Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia has issued the 2021 West Virginia Court System Annual Report.
The report is available on the publications page of the West Virginia Judiciary website: http://www.courtswv.gov/public-resources/press/Publications/index.html. The report includes photos and descriptions of events that occurred throughout the state judiciary during 2021, as well as budget information and case statistics. Prior annual reports and case statistics from 2014-2020 are also available online.
“Re-establishing an annual report as an electronic document is part of the Supreme Court’s effort to be transparent and fiscally accountable,” Chief Justice Hutchison said. “Our 1,500 judicial system employees are proud of the work we do, and we hope this document gives the public a sense of the depth and breadth of the ways we serve West Virginians every day.”
