Bailey Glasser celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month, recognizing the significant contributions Hispanic and Latinx people have made to American culture and industry. Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15 each year, a time to reflect upon the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
The observation began as Hispanic Heritage Week in 1968 under President Lyndon Johnson and was expanded and signed into law by President Ronald Reagan in 1988.
