Attorney Spotlight looks at Gretchen Callas. Gretchen has been with the Firm since 1996 and was the Firm’s first female assistant managing member from 2007 to 2011.
She says of her time at Jackson Kelly "I am grateful for the opportunities Jackson Kelly has given me over my twenty-five year career to try cases with exceptional trial lawyers like Tom Hurney, Steve LaCagnin and Al Emch. I hope to continue in their tradition of outstanding trial advocacy across the state of West Virginia."
Recently, she successfully moved a client through a complex case, representing a defendant in one of the first cases in the country tried on the theory that the distribution of opioids constitutes a public nuisance and successfully defended her client in the landmark ruling.
