Intermediate Court of Appeals To Hear First Oral Argument Docket

The Intermediate Court of Appeals (ICA) of West Virginia hear its first Oral Argument Docket on Thursday, November 10, in its courtroom in the West Virginia Judicial Tower, 4700 MacCorkle Avenue, SE, Charleston. Counsel for the parties have opted to appear in person in the ICA Charleston courtroom.

The two cases on the Rule 19 Argument Docket are Amanda C. v. Christopher P., No. 22-ICA-2, and David Duff II v. Kanawha County Commission, No. 22-ICA-10. The first argument will begin at 10 a.m. As with the Supreme Court, all ICA oral arguments are open to the media and the public to attend in person or watch via webcast. 

On November 10, there been a box on the main page of the West Virginia Judiciary website (courtswv.gov) directing traffic to the West Virginia Judiciary YouTube Channel, where the arguments will be broadcast live. Arguments will be taped and available on the YouTube Channel as soon after the argument as is practicable.
