The Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia has released its 2022 West Virginia Judiciary Annual Report.
The report is available on the West Virginia Judiciary website: News & Publications | Supreme Court Publications - West Virginia Judiciary (courtswv.gov).
The report includes photos and descriptions of events that occurred throughout the state judiciary during 2022, as well as budget information and basic statistics. Prior annual reports and case statistics from 2009-2021 are also available online.
The 2022 annual report was produced in house by Supreme Court Administrative Office staff. “We are pleased to release this annual report highlighting the work of the judicial branch of government in West Virginia and demonstrating our ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability,” said Chief Justice Beth Walker. “I’m so proud of our 1,500 employees in 55 counties who make it possible for us to operate a fair, impartial and independent judiciary.”
