WILLIAMSON — A Logan County attorney was charged with impersonation of an officer and possession with intent to deliver, among other offenses, after a car accident that occurred last month.

An accident occurred May 30 in Mingo County and officers discovered a pill and a powdery substance on the center console and dashboard when they inspected the vehicle, the criminal complaint states.

While searching his vehicle, officers discovered a badge that identified him as a Logan County prosecutor, but the criminal complaint states that Hobbs is not a Logan County prosecutor.
