The West Virginia University Board of Governors has named Jackson Kelly’s own Taunja Willis-Miller Chair of the Board. Ms. Willis-Miller has served on the board since her first appointment in 2016, including most recently as the Vice-Chairman. She also serves in the Jackson Kelly Health Care and Public Finance industry groups and practices out of the Firm’s office in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Ms. Willis-Miller has been with Jackson Kelly all but three years since 1977 and in 1984 became the Firm’s first female partner. Just five years later, she became the first Secretary of West Virginia’s Department of Health and Human Resources, returning to Jackson Kelly in 1992.
