United States Attorney Will Thompson had join with law enforcement officials on Friday, September 1, 2023, to announce the final outcome in a case that targeted the illegal trafficking of over 140 firearms from the Beckley area to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The press conference had followed the final sentencing hearings in the case, scheduled for 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. This media advisory will be updated with the time of the press conference upon the completion of both hearings.
Thompson had joined by officials with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI), and other law enforcement partners.
