Bailey Glasser Adds Two Lawyers to its Charleston, West Virginia Office

September 12, 2023: Bailey & Glasser, LLP has added two new lawyers to its national law practice. Daniel M. O’Hare will practice in the firm’s Bankruptcy practice group, and J. Lincoln Wolfe is the newest member of the firm's Consumer Protection practice group. Both attorneys are joining the firm after completing prestigious federal court clerkships and will be in the Charleston, West Virginia office.

Kevin Barrett, Bailey Glasser’s Bankruptcy Practice Group Leader, stated: “I am excited to welcome former summer associate, Dan O’Hare, back to Bailey & Glasser, LLP as an attorney in our bankruptcy group. His experience as a law clerk in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court will be a valuable addition to our team as we continue our strategic and pragmatic representation in some of the nation’s most high-profile and complex bankruptcy cases.”

More about Dan O’Hare and Lincoln Wolfe:

Attorney Dan O’Hare is a member of Bailey Glasser’s Bankruptcy group, where he will focus on matters representing both plaintiffs (including liquidating and litigation trustees), and defendants in the entire breadth of bankruptcy litigation, including complex business restructurings, reorganizations, as well as preferences and fraudulent transfer actions. Dan joins a dynamic Bankruptcy department that regularly represents debtors, banks and other secured creditors, creditors’ committees and unsecured creditors, lessors, equity holders, regulatory agencies, or buyers. Dan previously served as a 2022 summer associate at Bailey Glasser, where worked on several matters across a range of legal issues.

Dan brings notable bankruptcy experience from his time working as a term law clerk to the Honorable Arthur I. Harris of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio. As a law clerk, he assisted Judge Harris in drafting opinions, researching various legal issues, and preparing for hearings. While in law school, Dan was also a judicial intern for the Honorable David L. Bissett of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. 

A native of West Virginia, Dan is a graduate of West Virginia University College of Law, and a member of the Order of the Coif. Before his legal career, Dan was a college professor teaching religious studies at various colleges and universities.  He holds a Ph.D. in Christianity and Judaism in Antiquity from the University of Notre Dame.

Attorney Lincoln Wolfe is a member of Bailey Glasser’s Consumer Protection practice group, where he will litigate on behalf of individuals and class members in cases involving debt collection, consumer finance, TCPA violations, and a host of other consumer and employment matters.

Prior to joining Bailey Glasser, Lincoln worked as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Robert B. King of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, handling a wide variety of appellate litigation. He is a graduate of the University of Richmond School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Richmond Law Review and a member of the Lewis F. Powell Inn of Court. Lincoln graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and has worked in public policy development in state and federal government positions.
