CHARLESTON – A St. Albans woman has filed a lawsuit after she was injured in a Kroger parking lot.

Cecilia Sansom filed her complaint September 8 in Kanawha Circuit Court against RD Management LLC, The Kroger Co., Kroger Limited Partnership I and St. Albans Center II LLC.

According to the complaint, Sansom was shopping at the Kroger store in St. Albans using an electric wheelchair cart on April 29, 2022, when she maneuvered it into a large hole or holes in the parking lot. She fell and seriously injured herself.

She is being represented by Marvin Masters of The Masters Law Firm in Charleston. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Stephanie Abraham.
